5-Day Certified Energy Manager Training Program

 

COST:   $300. Hawaii Energy is providing grants to attendees, subject to funding & approval, to cover the majority of the $2,195 cost. Each grant recipient will contribute $300. Attendees from counties other then Hawaii, Honolulu & Maui pay the $2,195 fee.

Hawaii Energy, the conservation and energy efficiency program for Hawaii, Honolulu and Maui counties, has partnered with the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) to present a five day Comprehensive Training Program for Energy Managers from February 27 to March 2, 2012. The Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification exam is included.

Hawaii Energy is providing grants to attendees, on a first come first serve basis subject to Hawaii Energy funding and approval, to cover the majority of the cost of $2,195. Each grant recipient will contribute $300 to register. Attendees from counties other then Hawaii, Honolulu and Maui pay the unsubsidized fee of $2,195.

Since its inception in 1981, the CEM credential has become widely accepted and used as a measure of professional accomplishment within the energy management field. It has gained industry-wide use as the standard for qualifying energy professionals both in the United States and abroad, and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Office of Federal Energy Management Programs, and the U.S. Agency for International Development, as well as by numerous state energy offices, major utilities, corporations and energy service companies.
